California’s Flood Future
Central Valley Flood Protection Plan (CVFPB)
Central Valley Flood System 2012 Conservation Framework and 2017 Conservation Strategy (DWR)

In 2012, the Department of Water Resources launched the Regional Flood Management Planning effort, a locally led process that will result in Regional Flood Management Plans (RFMP) for the regions identified in the 2012Central Valley Flood Protection Plan. Though there were originally nine regions, some of the regions have joined together, leading to the six regions described in the draft Regional Flood Atlases that were developed as part of the RFMP effort.
